In October, we enjoyed a *small* fall break. We were going to go somewhere exciting, but we didn't. Instead, I went to BYU to work, and the next day we went to a session in the Draper Temple, had a delicious lunch at Olive Garden, and went to the Cornbelly's corn maze at Thanksgiving Point. It was a good, relaxing, fun day. Most of our pictures from the corn maze turned out way weird color-wise, so here's one I managed to salvage by turning it B&W.

We made a rather exciting purchase at the end of October. It arrived the beginning of November and now graces the room that used to be our office. Here is my attempt at some sort of "artsy" picture:

And here is what the whole beautiful piano looks like:

I'm one lucky girl. The piano has beautiful sound and tone. I played for almost three hours straight the first day it arrived and have played it frequently since. Allan sits in the love sac and listens to me. It's been fun, and I've rediscovered my method for stress detox and relaxing. The neighbors don't mind it, either (that's what they've told us). If you haven't stopped by to see my house since it's been redecorated, it's a great time to come now since the arrival of the piano. =)
The Bingo Renaissance assembly was yesterday, and it went off without a hitch. Now that's done, and I can move on to things that have been on the back-burner: school accreditation, sterling scholar interviews, and mid-terms. I found out I'll be getting two student teachers in January, which should prove to be interesting.
Hope all is well for each of you! Know that even though I'm a bad friend and haven't talked to you in A WHILE, I still think about you and love you.

Hooray for a beautiful piano! Hooray musical stress relief! Our neighbors upstairs have a piano and it's always nice to hear her playing it too.
Nice piano, it's beautiful! Well, I've never seen your house, so I better come and see it. You better tell me your address. Haha.
WELCOME BACK!!! :)
LOVE your artistic shot! I would love a piano someday in hopes to actually get better at playing it...
LOVES!
Hooray! A Haylee house just wouldn't be complete without a piano. It is very beautiful! Congrats!!
I'm already queen of worst friends so don't worry. I'm glad the assembly went well. I would have cried. (AND I love the piano.)
