I can write right now

I can write right now because I'm in the midst of parent-teacher conferences. I've actually had more parents than I thought I would. They aren't coming all at once, but they're coming in a steady enough stream to prevent me from getting a lot of anything done.

It seems like things have been crazy as of late. I'm teaching the ACT prep class this week which adds a new twist to trying to accomplish other things. I really just want to sleep a lot. I think I have the S.A.D.. Maybe I need to go tanning to start making some vitamin D or something.

I put up my Christmas tree over Thanksgiving break, and it is GORGEOUS!!! I'm so pleased, and every time I look at it I smile a little. I'll post pictures sometime, but the pictures hardly do the tree any justice. There are lights around the door and windows outside, and our house looks like a cozy cute Christmas house. Hooray for Christmas time!

I wept when I heard that Elder Wirthlin had passed away. I always have loved his talks, and I'll miss him at the next General Conference. I really want to see the funeral, so maybe I'll turn on the TV on Friday during lunch and watch a bit.

The next couple of weeks' forcast is exciting: Body Worlds next Friday, Temple Square lights sometime soon, 3rd Annual Spider Olympics before Christmas break (which means spider dancing), my birthday, Christmas Eve, Christmas, spending holiday time with Allan...EEEEKKKKK! Excitement galore!

Your excitement really is contagious! I think the holiday spirit has eluded me recently because of school stress...blah! But hooray for my last finals ever! Did you hear that I'm student teaching at AF! I'm so excited!
