If I could make these moments endless
If I could stop the winds of change
If we just keep our eyes wide open
Then everything would stay the same
And I know that only time will tell me how
We'll carry on without each other
So keep me awake for every moment
Give us more time to be this way
We can't stay like this forever
But I can have you next to me today
And I will remember
Oh I will remember
Remember all the love we shared today

How was the dance? Did you your groove?
Yes, did it get better? Did Brandon ever show up?
The dance was fun--I really didn't get my groove on, but it was still fun. The DJ was kind of lame (he kept playing slow country songs--yuck!), but other than that, it was okay.
And Brandon did show up. I went over and said "hi" to him. Then when I was sitting down, he came over and chatted for a bit more. He's still Brandon, but he has changed.
He said something that made me laughed. I remarked to him that I felt old at the dance. He agreed, and then he said something to the effect of a lot of the people there didn't have any goals or ambition in life, and that frustrated him. He said the people who aren't going to school and who have no career ambitions confuse him.
I had to laugh inside myself, because wasn't that Brandon not three years ago? I'm glad some people change for the better. =)
That is kind of ironic coming from Brandon.
