Those would be less painful than grading the one-page papers that my zoo/bot kids wrote.
They can't write an essay to save their lives.

I'm sorry. Maybe they figure, its science so they don't have to write?
I'm pretty sure the papers are just as bad in every other class in that whole school. (Trust me, I remember writing them.)
Those were pretty descriptive ways to be tortured... You feeling ok? ;) Sorry about the papers. Not to generalize, but a lot of people in sciences don't feel like they need to develope their writing skills..."It's just science, right?" Sad day for you. I hope you made it through them alright. TO DEFEND SCIENTISTS EVERYWHERE!!! Real scientists write all the time! They probably write just as much as emglish majors. Futhermore it their writing is crappy they take the heat and there is A LOT of pressure to write well. ('ve had many a paper shredded multiple times in a row. HOW OFFENSIVE ! J/K
Remeber we are talking about high school kids right. Just ask Deb, Allsop-Day, or Selytina and they will tell you it's torture to read english students papers too.
