A "Belgian Sweet" accent wall in the master bedroom!
"Harvest Chestnut" laminate flooring for downstairs...installed next week.
So, we've knocked off four of the gazillion things to do in the Stewart Summer Shape-Up Our Shack Event. More pictures to come!
I need to thank several people: the lovely tile installers who did in two days what would have taken Allan and me too many days; a great man named Roger for tacking my carpet; Shelby and her delightful friend Brianne for helping me paint yesterday; Mandy, my fantastic sister-in-law, who hooked us up with the great tile deal and helped us problem solve; my always amazing mother-in-law for loaning us her truck; and, of course, my wonderfully patient husband who has ripped off baseboards while I sort of tried, dragged stuff around, in, and out of the house, and dealt with and continues to deal with a crazy, disorganized house.

I LOVE the tile!! Thank goodness that carpet is gone...bad idea whoever thought that up. ;) And I'm glad you are crossing things off your list. I like the title of your summer project too "Stewart Summer Shape-Up Our Shack Event." Love it.

Hooray for tile in the bathroom. Nick just tiled ours. It was gross peeling linoleum before.
