When the janitor came into my classroom this morning and asked how I was doing, I replied, "I keep getting better every day we get closer to the end." He had a good chuckle over that. But it got me thinking, am I really that anxious for school to end? Do I detest work that much? After pondering for a while, I decided I'm anxious to be able to start over again--get a new group of kids and refine my lessons even more. I enjoy working with the students, with my peers, and working in general, but it's just nice to have a fresh start.
With that being said, I'm really looking forward to the summer and a break. =)
No rest for the weary this weekend, though. I'll be going to Youth Conference with my one girl who is able. It's up at Aspen Grove and should be a good time. I haven't cleaned my house really well in like two weeks and this will make the third . . . hopefully I make it!
