End of Term Blues

It's the end of the term. And I just don't care anymore. I've made a graph to help explain what I've gone through the past week (see above).
I care at the beginning of the term. I care that the students are doing well and trying. But, as the term progresses and I see students' actions (or lack thereof), my level of caring decreases. It is not existant now. The students, however, don't care until now. See the problem? They do care, I don't care; what I do have in my favor, however--I'm the boss.
My compassion is at an all-time low, and I really, really, REALLY want a vacation.
Oh, well. It's a new term on Monday. Let's see what changes.

That is the exact reason why I cannot be a teacher. I would start out not caring.

You gotta love high school....although I have to say that college students aren't much better.

Wow, quite the graph! Nicely done! Poor you...or rather, poor students! They just don't get it, do they?

Hey, I was on the AFHS website today...NICE PIC! You're HOT! :) I love that whole estatic to be back bit! Did you write it? It sounds like one of your words. :) I bet there are several boys out there who think their teacher, Miss Ferguson, is hot! Ha ha ha. That's awesome!

Sweet. Everything's set for the 21st. E's parents will be in town, but there are no set plans yet, SO YOU GET FIRST PRIORITY! :)
