I don't even know what to title this . . .

Okay, so remember holy crap boy from last week? So, I go to ward prayer tonight and he's there. I mentioned the meteor shower that was going on; he talked about work; I discussed my job; he said other stuff. Then, ladies, I got brave. Earlier in the day I had made chocolate zucchini cake. I asked him to come over and have some cake. He said yes.

He came over and ate cake. That was about 8:45. At about 10:30 (yes, we talked that long), he asked if I was still going to go up and see the meteor shower and if I was he'd like to go. So, I decided to be brave again and go.

We went up to Vivian Park and found a dark place (darn that light pollution!) and watched the meteor shower. He asked me for a date in quite a funny way (call me for the details), and I said okay. Then as we continued to watch, he got quite close and actually got quite forward (nothing awful, ladies, it was probably me just freaking out). So, I decided to relax and just have fun and that is what I did.

We're going out on Friday.

Here's what I know: His name is Allan. He's kind of a computer geek, but I'm a science geek, so maybe that's okay. He is the oldest child with a younger sister and brother. His brother is coming home from his mission this Wednesday and his sister got married in January. He graduated high school in 1999, served a mission in Cambodia, and graduated from the Y in 2006 (same year we did!). His degree is in computer science, and he currently works as a computer programmer for a small company in Springville. He and my dad would actually get along quite well because he likes a lot of the same things my dad does, like the Lord of the Rings movies and books. He owns a Honda Civic. He owns (yes, OWNS) a town home and has two roommates that supplement his income.

That is all.

**PS: It is amazing how much power I have as a girl. I could tell he was interested before, but as soon as I gave an okay signal, he came in full power. And as we were watching the shower, I thought, I could probably take the incentive right now and kiss him (not that I would). I would make that decision and have that power to make that decision. It was kind of a weird feeling.

**PPS: Just in case it's not just me and this kid wants to move WAY too fast (which I am not up for considering past relationships . . .), does someone know about a good quote that says that affection is best when approached slowly? Gosh, if you could find a quote for me, I'd consider you my new hero!

Sad day, I didn't even think about people not knowing why I spent hours looking up random talks in the middle of the night.
