Waiting

Patience has never been my virtue. When I think I've gained a little bit, something seems to come along that makes me fall back to where I began.

I went to the doctor today; I'm at 4 cm and more than 80%. But the baby is still high. The doctor said, "He's a stubborn one." Considering his parents, I had to agree. The doctor also said the chances of my water breaking before labor begins are high.

I'd go run a mile tonight, but I have been feeling a bit under the weather, and so bed is more appealing. Tomorrow is cleaning day, though, and maybe that will help speed things along.

I'm cranky and very snippy with people. And with Allan, I mostly complain and cry. When did I turn into such a nasty person?

I just can't wait to see that cute little face. You can do it, Baby Boy! Come.

Please. =)

(See what I mean about the patience thing?)

Unfortunately babies come when they are good and ready. The crazy hormones on top of the anxiety of waiting sure doesn't make it any easier. Just stay strong, rest and enjoy time with just your husband.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news...but you still aren't due for a week (I can say that since I just know he's going to come tonight or tomorrow....hehehehe). Let me know if you want a walking buddy.

Just take the time to get ready. And YES clean hard! That actually helped move me along too. :) But I always had to wait. My babies always come late. The time where it is just the two of you are numbered so enjoy! Maybe do something special with just the two of you. Lots of love and patience sent your way! ;)
