IT WAS DELICIOUS! I wasn't expecting much. But I grossly underestimated how tasty it would be one year later. It was exciting to eat and look back on that memory. It's also very exciting to have reclaimed room in my freezer again.

I made curtains for my kitchen yesterday. I felt a great sense of accomplishment. Yes, it was a bunch of straight lines with rectangled fabric, but I did it. The goal is to hang them up today. My house is pretty much done. The upstairs rooms still need some organizing (we're going to build shelves in one closet), but the downstairs is done. It looks great, and I'm happy to have a beautiful home and to have it done.

On Thursday, I reconnected with some old friends:
It had been a LONG time since we'd seen each other, and it was neat to talk and to see how much we've changed and at the same time, how much we hadn't changed. Hooray for Facebook linking old friends together today. Thanks, ladies, for the fun times!

That's all for now. Gearing up for school is the next priority on my list. It should be a good year. I'm looking forward to it.
