Two Weeks and Loving It!

Preface: I had wishes of putting a lot more pictures on here, but I can't figure out how to work Blogger and so I gave up. Can you picture-posters help a girl out?

We're back from the honeymoon, and I'm trying to organize the house (which seems like an uphill battle). The wedding itself was AMAZING, and I'm so pleased everything turned out so well. Everything went absolutely perfectly thanks to the paid help and amazing people like you who are reading this! I don't have any regrets or unfulfilled wishes about the day (other than that Alisyn wasn't there), and so I'm very happy.

We went to our house on Tuesday night and awoke to find both our cars and our door decorated. Neither his sister nor mine claim the handiwork. So which one of YOU did it? ;)
I didn't sleep at ALL on Tuesday night (weird noises, someone else being in bed, it was burning hot in the bedroom), however, I tried to be perky on Wednesday morning (and I really didn't have to try) because WE WERE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!! My parents took us to the airport, and we were off. We arrived in Anaheim in the late evening. I was exhausted from the traveling and from not sleeping, so we went to McDonald's for dinner and then went promptly to bed.

I awoke quite refreshed on Thursday. And we got ready to go to Disneyland!!!

The first purchase we made in Disneyland was a hat for me. Since I'm not particularly fond of baseball caps, I decided on a big floppy one. I'm pretty sure is saved me the rest of the time in Anaheim. Apparently Anaheim was in a heat wave, and the sun was intense. I covered myself in sunscreen and my hat and did not get sunburned once! I go!

It was so hot outside, but I was having so much fun I barely noticed! Disneyland is awesome as an adult. It was so fun to take our time, to do what we wanted to do, and to go back to the hotel when we felt like it. We weren't pressured to ride all the rides or visit all the princesses. And I enjoyed myself!

Friday we spent in California Adventure. It was also tons of fun. Allan had to push and prod a bit, but I rode the Tower of Terror and the loopy roller coaster. We also got to try out the new 4-D Toy Story ride, and that was TONS of fun.

We spent Saturday in Disneyland. Again, I had a wonderful time! It was so fun to be in Disneyland on my honeymoon with my husband! (It still kind of seems like a dream still!) Here is our token picture in front of the castle.

Now the honeymoon is over, and I'm up to my elbows in laundry, organizing, cooking dinner, and other tasks. But I couldn't be happier!

It was NOT me. I am passionately against the decorating of cars.

Looks like you two had fun times!

Okay, okay, it was me!!! ;)

Glad you had such a grand event and that everything was PERFECT!!! And I was there...in spirit and by pasted picture of myself so kindly held by my incredible sister Anna. :) Good times!

The first few weeks of adjusting can be interesting, but it's all good, right!? Let me know if you need help with anything and I look forward to hanging soon in order to see all of the wedding photos and movie! Wahoo!

I just can't see WHY you felt NO PRESURE AT ALL to visit every last Disney princess. What's wrong with you :)

Sad day!! I hating cleaning ours up. No fun at all. If Trent had known where you lived I would blame it on him, but since he didn't (to my knowledge) we can't. However, Deb, I do need to warn you he's waiting for you to get married. Silly boy!

Haylee, I'm so glad you had fun at Disney and that you are still enjoying married life. I'm with you on the laundry thing....YUCK!!

I don't know why Trent is targeting me. Alisyn is the one that wouldn't tell him where your car was. Also, Jo...I leave it up to you to not let my wedding date slip if/when that time arrives.

Well, it wasn't you specifically, it was more, as he put it, "Those girls of yours." So, he missed Al's, and Haylee's (although he called during the reception and was going to come down but it was too close to the end), so Deb, you are left.

I never let dates slip, you'll have to talk to Lyle.

Trent was going to drive down to St. George? How completely random. I'm sorry, but that just would have been weird. Good thing no one tried to target us because we drove my parent's car on our honeymoon! That would NOT have flown with my dad!!! Yikes! Sad day to the person who got caught defiling his stuff!

Just hide Deb's announcement (if and when it exists) when Trent comes to your house... :)

SO, WHAT ELSE!? It's almost a month of marriage for you two now! How does that feel? How is Allan liking his new job? Is the summer flying by too fast for you? Did you conquor the bathroom? Thanks again for the slip...apparently Stacey's bridal were lovely and went just swell. Now it's on to planning and implementing decorations for the reception! :)
