Ug.
I'm sitting at parent-teacher conferences again. I'm here until 7:30, folks--that makes for a 12 + hour work day, and I dislike that quite a bit. It's been 35 minutes and I've seen three parents. So, hopefully my trend of not having a lot of parents continues so I can get some work done. The only light at the end of my tunnel is Allan is bringing me nacho dinner at 6:30 (hooray and yum!).
...
Okay, so now it's 4:00 and I've seen 6 parents. So, my three parents/half-hour trend continues. But they come at such staggered intervals that it's hard to get much of anything done before the next parent comes.
Anywho, it is almost March (crazy!), and the weather is improving. This is lightening my spirits greatly, and I do see hope for spring. And then summer. Ooo, I'm excited for it to be warm! And I'm ready for all of the ugly, dirty snow to be gone and to see some green. And (I know this is going to make me sound like SUCH a geek) I'm excited to be out identifying plants again and to plant the school garden. Ahh, the joys of warm weather!
Tonight there is a lunar eclipse. Too bad I'll be inside . . . perhaps I'll sneak out for a minute or two.
We're in full science fair mode. District science fair is next week, and then regionals are at the end of March. I love this time of year. It's fun to work on all the projects, and it's fun to see the kids work and win. (Hey, Jo, do you want to be a judge for district? There's free dinner involved!)
I think that's all for now. Not much of a post, but at least it's something.

It's cloudy anyway. Very bad for eclipse viewing.
Indeed, we missed the eclipse (best at 7:01 p.m.) due to cloudage. Sad day! I was SO looking forward to it!
So, did you survive P.T.C.? Allan rocks! And so do nachos!
Spring is amazing. The snow has been much needed, however. Hopefully we won't have such drastic droughts this summer.
Yeah, sad day about the eclipse. I wanted to see it as well. Yes, hooray for Allan and nachos. Speaking of Allan, thanks to you both for coming to my show!
I can't wait for spring too! Tuesday was such a spectacular day. It was nearly springlike...so much so that I went on a walk!
Do you have fun and exciting plans for this weekend?
Yeah...hook me up!!!!
Yes! I'll call you!
PTC also stands for Pioneer Theatre Company. It confused me for a minute, but I'm okay now.

Yeah, I'd like to see a design that has OUR BLOG LINKS ON IT!!! I'm lazy and it drives me crazy that I can't access everyone else's page from yours!
Seriously!!! :)
Okay, okay . . . I'll get Allan to help me convert one of these days and add some other little touches.
Oh yeah!! You totally don't need our help, you're marrying the computer guy!!!!!
So, what else is new?
Sad day you're missing this Vegas trip, Hay! It's in the mid 70's right now!
I did not know about the Vegas trip.
Yeah, Anna and I headed down there to hang out with Savannah and Kaitlyn whilst Megan and Wendy went to Disneyland for a cheer competition. It was great! We are both SO exhausted though! (That bed...)
So what's new and exciting with you?
So, parent teacher conferences are no longer the new news. We need NEW news..... :)
New post, new post ,new post!
Hear! Hear!
Yes, I couldn't agree more...though none of us are ones to talk... ;)
