The entire faculty at AFHS gets together once a month at a Monday meeting called the "teacher celebration." Basically, it's a meeting with a treat. Beeson always has a poem to celebrate those whose birthday is during that month, so today my birthday received a verse of his poem. Here it is:
Haylee Ferguson is a December birthday
But no more birthdays alone at home.
Haylee found out how to pin down a species
That carries the Y chromosome.
I laughed really hard, and I appreciated him putting a science twist to it.
Happy birthday to me indeed! ;)
