Although not as exciting as Jo's Canada trip or Al's last day of work, I took the day off today. And it was great! I felt like I was going crazy at school, I felt like I wasn't getting anything accomplished, and so I took the day off to get stuff done. And I did get stuff done.
I felt kind of guilty this week knowing I was going to take the day off. I felt like I was abandoning my kids. I felt like I was being a slacker. But now I feel great. Now I know it's okay to take a day off now and then. So, in the future, I'll feel okay about taking the day off. But it probably won't happen for a while. =)

Hooray for giving yourself a day off. I wish I had a day off. Well...technically I had a day off last week, but when you spend that day sick in bed ALL DAY it doesn't really count, right?
Sad day, you were sick Deb?? But happy day for Haylee's day off and catching up and being rejuivinated.
So, what did you do on your day off? You can't just tell us you got stuff done and not give us all the exciting details. ;)
I planned lessons. Really. But it was good.
Sweet! It's about freakin' time that you took care of yourself, Miss Ferguson! The world needs you, but you can't very well support the world when you're tired and in need of serious rejuvenation! And guess what!? Only one more day this week! WAHOO!!! We're still on for Wednesday, right?
