This weekend I moved into my new apartment. It was quite the experience. I almost have everything in it's place, and that makes me happy. Going to the new ward was also an experience, but the bishop and the 1st counselor know my mother (they grew up with her in Lehi--small world) and that oddly makes me feel a little more at peace.
The move was also emotionally draining, and I felt heartache and sadness I haven't felt in nearly three weeks. When is this heart of mine going to heal? When will I finally feel at peace? Have faith, Haylee, just have faith.

Just keep going, just keep going, what do we do? We keeping on going! :) Hang in there, gorgeous, it's worth it!!!
Congrats on the move! I feel REALLY BAD about bailing on you...I've turned into the type of person I despise. I'm sorry ya'll. It just seems like I can't get my feet under me, no matter how hard I try. I'm an emotional basket-case right now...hormones are particularly nutsy this month (and I still haven't bled...), which doesn't help the situation. My poor husband. I've cried his shoulder through several times now. I would fear women if I were a man! :)
I'm excited to see the new place! When is our house warming/pool party again? What do I get to bring?
Congrats! Who is your roommate again? And I'll add my two cents, hang in there. Time will heal your wounds. (name that movie)
Blast! What is that movie?!?! Tell me before I go CRAZY!
My roommate is Michelle. She's great!
Sense and Sensibility? No that's not it. But it will, right?
Emma, of course. Mr. Knightley to Emma about Frank Churchill.
Oh, yeah! That's right!
Wow. I haven't seem Emma for a really long time...perhaps before I met Eric. Man, boys screw a lot of things up...as much as we love and desire them! J/K! :) MY "Mr. Knightley" is so much more than I ever hoped for. How is the new place settling in? Are you feeling "at groove" with things? I bet you already have it all decorated and cutesy. You go, Domestic Goddess, you! :)
I knew it was Jane Austen-y. Any new wreaths on the horizon Haylee?
No new wreaths until I get paid the big bucks at the end of August. Haylee's shopping is on a major hold until rent and car are paid for August and some of my debt gets paid off . . .
Smart cookie, you are. Way to exercise self-control/self-mastery. I need to visit VS once I get paid...they're fancy schmancy sales are over now, though?
Thanks again for letting us help you clean! That formaldehyde and those specimens really did a number on me, though! I almost threw up driving home, I almost threw up my dinner, and I still felt a little queezie this morning. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT because I got to spend time serving you, and that makes me happy! :)
Wow, was it really that bad? I guess I'm just used to stuff like that. Sorry it did such a number on you!
Hey, good news! I don't feel sick today, but some other people in my family are having weird stomach pains so I'm thinking it's some sort of virus NOT an ulcer. Haylee, thanks for letting us help you with your classroom. Sorry I wasn't much help.
Sorry I didn't help with the classroom either. Paychecks are awesome though and I can't wait for mine either!
Although, I won't be going to VS, just paying bills...... Ah, growing up.
What was our last record for number of comments? Are we getting close?
Thanks for helping clean, Deb and Al. I greatly appreciate it! And you did help, Deb! If it weren't for you, that desk up at the front of the class wouldn't be clean, and most of the tape wouldn't be off the board!
It's okay that you weren't there, Jo. Working is working. But you really do need to come see it! It looks awesome!
I finished up cleaning the closets, freezer, and microscope cabinet on Saturday. All I have left is to organize the back room, clean out the fridge and chemical cupboard (which I am not going to do without Bastian!)
I think the record is over twenty. Can we keep this going to over 30?
