You like me! You really like me!

The school tracker, Bonnie, came into my prep period today to talk to Mr. Whitney. I was merrily typing up a lesson plan and wasn't deeply involved in their conversation.

As Bonnie was leaving, she said, "I hear you're a great teacher."

"Thanks," I replied, kind of shoving the comment off. So Mr. Whitney had told her about me. Big deal. Teachers like to tell other teachers they are doing a great job.

"That's coming from the students, you know. I've heard it in the halls. They think you're great."

"Really?" My heart jumped. Students were saying that I was a great teacher? Holy cow!

They like me! They really like me!!! And that makes me happy.

That is so awesome! The true test of a good teacher--student approval. You are a wonder.

Hello! Neal's been telling you that forever! Congratulations though for finally coming to that realization that you are an incredible teacher.

Wouldn't have expected anything less from the practically perfect Miss Ferguson. I suppose the fact that you're young, hot, and super energetic doesn't have anything to do with it? (Not to mention an incredibly intelligent, comprehensive, and thorough teacher!)

Is that one student still hitting on you?! ;)

I had forgotten about trackers... they never had to find me though, I was never sloughing...or is that sluffing? Whatever.
